Specialized clinical engineering team Methodology: Strict alignment with international calibration standards

Healthcare Technology Management Built on Measurement Science.

We help healthcare facilities ensure their biomedical equipment remains safe, accurate, reliable, and ready for patient care through systematic metrological controls, standard-driven Maintenance of Medical Equipment, and comprehensive validation of Medical Devices.

"We don't calibrate equipment to satisfy auditors. We calibrate equipment so healthcare professionals can trust the information used to make patient care decisions."

Standard Metrological Control Loops

The Engineering Pillars of Clinical Confidence

We reject the checkbox approach to biomedical safety. Our technical operations are structured upon four immutable pillars of calibration rigor.

Measurement Foundation

Sound Measurement Science

We apply rigorous safety verification and risk analysis to every single deployment, ensuring results are deeply meaningful and strictly aligned with manufacturer protocols. We isolate and control operational noise parameters instead of generalizing standard tolerances.

The Metrological Risk Profile: Compliance vs. Traceability

UNMANAGED CLINICAL DRIFT

The Hidden Risk in Everyday Numbers

Every day, clinicians make decisions using parameters like blood pressure, heart rate, infusion drops, and sterilization temperatures.

Many organizations treat calibration as a checkbox — applying a regulatory sticker and passing an audit without assessing actual measurement uncertainty.

A certificate alone cannot protect a patient.

Without understanding absolute signal drift and tolerances, audit stickers serve as false validation. A piece of paper does not guarantee clinical confidence.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers to questions we get often. If yours isn't here, just reach out.

PM and calibration are distinct but complementary. PM keeps equipment in working order — cleaning, inspecting, lubricating, and replacing worn components before they cause failures. Calibration verifies that the equipment's measurements are accurate by comparing them against a traceable reference standard and calculating measurement uncertainty. What sets AccuraMed apart is how we approach calibration: we apply proper uncertainty analysis, reference standards anchored to recognized national and international measurement systems, and produce documentation that reflects what was actually found — not just what passed a checklist. The outcome is a result that is defensible, meaningful, and genuinely useful for clinical decision-making.

It depends. The starting point is the manufacturer's recommended interval — typically annual for most devices. But the schedule can also be determined through a risk-based approach, taking into account how critical the equipment is to patient care, how frequently it's used, the environment it operates in, historical performance data, observed drift from previous calibrations, and the requirements of applicable regulatory or accreditation bodies. We work with each facility to arrive at a schedule that makes sense for their specific situation rather than applying a blanket rule.

Yes. Our technical personnel are credentialed through the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) as Registered Engineers, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) as NC II Certified Biomedical Equipment Technicians, or both. Credentials are available on request.

We work with a broad range of biomedical equipment used across clinical, diagnostic, and research settings. Rather than listing specific devices here, we'd prefer to understand your facility's actual inventory and requirements directly — it's a more useful conversation and lets us give you an honest answer about what we can support. Reach out and we'll take it from there.

We are based in Muntinlupa City, NCR, and serve healthcare facilities nationwide across the Philippines. If you're outside Metro Manila, reach out and we'll discuss coverage and logistics for your location.

Documentation varies depending on the scope of work, but generally includes a service report, a preventive maintenance checklist, a calibration certificate with its supporting measurement records (as applicable), and an electrical safety testing report (as applicable). You'll always receive a clear record of what was done and what was found. Nothing gets issued without proper documentation behind it.

Project-based is a defined engagement for specific needs — a compliance deadline, a scheduled maintenance cycle, or a targeted assessment. Our in-house HTM arrangement deploys our team to your facility on an ongoing basis; the scope and structure are tailored to what your facility actually requires. If you're unsure which fits your situation, the most straightforward way to figure it out is a quick conversation with us.

Both. We work with tertiary hospitals, community clinics, diagnostic centers, research laboratories, and educational institutions. Equipment safety matters regardless of how big your facility is.

Turnaround time depends on the scope — the number of equipment items, the types of tests required, and your facility's scheduling constraints. We provide a realistic timeline estimate during our initial conversation so you can plan accordingly. We don't commit to timelines we can't meet.

Yes. A Purchase Order (PO) or equivalent written authorization is required before we begin any service engagement. This protects both parties and ensures that scope, pricing, and terms are agreed upon before work starts. We're happy to help you understand what documentation your facility's procurement process will need from our end.

The calibration cycle is ultimately determined by your facility, but several factors inform that decision: the manufacturer's recommended interval, the risk classification of the equipment (critical versus non-critical use), how frequently the equipment is used, the environment it operates in, historical calibration results and observed drift patterns, and the requirements of applicable regulatory or accreditation bodies. We can help you think through an appropriate schedule for your inventory — that's part of the conversation we have early on.
